How it works

  1. Download MonIA from the App Store.
  2. Let the assistant set itself up. On first launch, MonIA installs its AI model on your phone (~1.6 GB, one time only — the app stays usable meanwhile).
  3. Chat, anywhere. Write, translate, summarize a document, get answers — with or without a connection.

Tip: an optional "Precision" mode downloads a more powerful model (~3 GB) for answers that need extra depth.

Frequently asked questions

Does it really work without an internet connection?

Yes. After the initial setup, MonIA no longer needs the internet: the AI model runs entirely on your iPhone. Try it yourself in airplane mode.

Where do my conversations and documents go?

Nowhere. They stay on your phone. MonIA has no conversation servers, no user accounts, no ads. See our privacy policy.

How is it different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT lives on servers: it needs a connection, and your exchanges pass through them. MonIA lives on your iPhone: less encyclopedic than a cloud giant, but always available, fully private, and subscription-free.

Why a one-time purchase instead of a subscription?

Because MonIA has no server costs: the AI runs on your device. You buy the app once, and that's it.

Which iPhone do I need?

An iPhone running iOS 26 or later, with about 4 GB of free space for the standard assistant.
